The trust operates through its legal DBA, Irons Bey L.A.W., which houses Juris Consultus to manage the trust’s affairs. The goal of this initiative is to cultivate legal professionals who will eventually establish and manage their own trusts, contributing to the expansion of sovereign trust governance.

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Juris Consultus to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing legal counsel on trust formation, common law applications, international legal frameworks, and corporate governance. This role requires strong research skills, an analytical mindset, and a passion for legal justice and equity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification OR relevant life experience in legal advisory, trust law, or a related field (eligibility will be determined based on assessment during the application process).
  • Qualification is also based on a life experience merit system, where the applicant’s life resume will be assessed to determine admission.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in legal advisory, trust law, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of common law, trust governance, and equity-based legal frameworks.
  • Excellent legal writing, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in appearing before courts of equity or knowledge of admiralty law is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with international clients.

  • Assist in drafting and reviewing trust agreements, legal contracts, and governance documents.

  • Support senior Juris Consultus in case preparation and legal advisory functions.
